Nora is a web browser built into Netyvo for Android phones and tablets. Browse websites and manage tabs without switching apps. Core browsing features are free.
How to get started with Nora Browser
- Open Netyvo on your Android phone or tablet and launch Nora.
- Enter a website address or search terms in the address bar, then open the desired page.
- Use tabs to switch between websites and browsing history to revisit pages.
- Save frequently visited sites as Nora shortcuts. You can also open downloaded files or clear browser data when needed.
What can Nora Browser do?
- Multiple browser tabs and a history of visited pages.
- Quick website shortcuts and management of saved entries.
- Built-in, rule-based blocking of ads and known tracking domains — it may not block every ad.
- Downloads from supported websites with access to Android's downloads list.
- Detection of supported web videos and casting to compatible Google Cast devices, described in a separate guide.
- Optional biometric access lock; encrypting selected stored browser data requires Premium.
Privacy and important limitations
Nora uses Android web browsing technology. Ad blocking does not guarantee full tracking protection or anonymity. Optional Nora data encryption covers stored browser information, not the whole phone. Features can depend on your Netyvo version and website compatibility.
Is Nora Browser free?
Yes. Core browsing features and the optional biometric access lock are available in Free. Encryption of Nora's stored browser data on disk requires Premium.
Can Nora cast videos to my TV?
Yes, where the video and receiver support Google Cast. Not every video is compatible, and Nora does not bypass DRM. See the dedicated Cast guide.
Is Nora an Android browser with ad blocking?
Yes. Nora Browser in Netyvo for Android offers tabs, browsing history, website shortcuts and built-in rule-based ad blocking. It does not guarantee blocking every advertisement or making browsing anonymous.
